Lovage (Levisticum officinale) is one of the oldest cultivated plants in Europe. It has a spicy and intense flavor and aroma making it suitable for diverse dishes, however in Poland it’s most frequently added to enhance taste of soups. Lovage may also have some health benefits, such as reducing inflammation, improving digestion and relieving pain.
